In the morning of yesterday, the mayor of Campos del Rio, María José Pérez Cerón, accompanied by the Councilor for Environment, Water, Livestock, Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Juan Mateo Flomesta, held a meeting with the head of Water, Agriculture, Livestock And Fisheries of the Autonomous Community, Francisco Jódar.
At the meeting the first mayor presented the councilor with a series of requests related to their water skills such as the need to have two new collectors in the industrial area of ​​the polygon and a second one in the rural center of Los Rodeos Service to the area of ​​Campos del Murcia.
Regarding the rural roads, the mayor and councilor has listed the necessary and urgent improvements that must be made in these roads that are very busy on a daily basis, as in 'El Camino de La Cola' where we are working and whose Beginning of the works will be implemented soon.
Also announced the recent allocation to the municipality of the arrangement of two new roads within the second call of the Regional Rural Roads Plan 2014-2020.
Another of the questions demanded by the council to the counseling at the meeting was the necessary impetus for the promotion of the young farmers of Campos del Rio with the objective of that they can work in this sector and create new agricultural exploitations in the municipality, to the Instead it is necessary a determined support from the counseling to the young farmers and herdsmen who inherit of their families this type of exploitations since this way it is potentiated this important productive sector of the locality, pointed the mayoress.
At the end of the meeting, Pérez Cerón invited the councilor Jódar to visit the municipality and they have been placed to continue working on these and other priority issues for Campos del Rio in matters of Water, Environment, Agriculture and Livestock.
