The Plenary of the City of Campos del Río approves the adhesion to the new financial measures proposed by the General Secretariat of Local and Autonomous Financing (07/04/2017)

Yesterday was held the ordinary session of the Plenary of the City of Campos del Rio in April in which the municipal corporation discussed the different points arranged on the agenda.

The highlight of the plenary session was the adherence to the new financial measures proposed by the General Secretariat for Local and Regional Financing, which allow for the widening of the period of deprivation and amortization of the municipal debt, while obtaining funding for the payment to Providers.

After the debate, this point was approved with the votes in favor of the Municipal Socialist Group and the abstentions of the Municipal People's Group.

The mayor of Campos del Río, María José Pérez Cerón argued in her explanation of vote that "with the adhesion to these measures the City will obtain liquidity to be able to pay the suppliers who work for this consistory and, at the same time, Period of debt repayment with a longer period of grace than we had at present with which we get a greater operating margin to work in the day to day and we can take more measures that benefit our neighbors in the daily management of the City Council " .
