The VI Solidarity March in favor of Rare Diseases, organized by the Association of Rare Diseases D'Genes with the collaboration of the City of Campos del Río, was developed this morning with a good atmosphere.
The good weather has accompanied this march, which has departed from the Park of the Campos del Río Station and has served to give visibility to infrequent pathologies.
In total, 225 euros have been raised with bib numbers and other solidarity items that could be purchased, an amount that will be used to maintain the portfolio of services provided by D'Genes to meet and improve the quality of life of people living with diseases rare
At the end of the march popular games have also been developed.
D'Genes would like to thank all the people who have collaborated or participated in this day, included in the program of events organized by the association to commemorate the World Day of Rare Diseases celebrated on February 29.
Among other people, it has been assisted by the Councilor for Education and Finance of Campos del Río, María del Carmen Macías;
and the mayor of Services and Sports, Iván Pérez.
Likewise, we want to show our gratitude to the City Council of Campos del Río, Local Police, Civil Protection and the Pasico Hiking Club to Pasico de Campos del Río and shops that have donated items for a raffle at the end of the march.
