The Councilor for Equality, María del Mar Celdrán, delivered today a diploma and a story without inequalities to all classrooms of the CEIP San Juan Bautista of the town for the activity 'Equal Classes' that the school has developed throughout the month of November on the occasion of the Day against Gender Violence.
The students have worked on content related to gender equality and decorated the doors of their classrooms with messages and drawings in favor of equality between men and women.
From the City Council of Campos del Río, this work has been recognized and the designation of all the 'Equal Classes' classrooms will be given individually by a diploma that they will wear at the entrance doors to the classrooms.
Various activities aimed at children and young people included in the Week Against Gender Violence have been developed during the last weeks since, according to María del Mar Celdrán, “gender equality must be promoted in all levels of society but mainly in our children and youth â€.
