The Department of Culture has inaugurated a new pictorial exhibition encompassed within the project 'Campos del Río Cultural'.
On this occasion, the appointment includes more than twenty works by both authors dedicated to this art for years and can be visited from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the auditorium of the town hall until the next day 26 of this month.
Joaquina García Peñalver, born in the district of Los Rodeos, has been dedicated to the art of painting for 25 years.
He began to know his hobby and artistic gifts through different workshops organized by the Women's Association of Campos del Río, turning this art into one of his main hobbies and dedicating a large part of his personal expansion time.
The artist rut shows us in this exhibition part of her work where she has used different techniques learned in a self-taught way, highlighting the oil in different formats such as canvas, glass, fabric and clay.
García Peñalver expresses his feelings, moods and vision of life through painting and the art of creating with recycled materials so his work can combine a very personal vision of the author with originality in the combination of colors.
The artist has had the opportunity to show her art to the public at different exhibitions in the Region of Murcia, in nearby municipalities such as Las Torres de Cotillas and with Fademur, the Federation of Rural Women's Associations, in the Nelva Hotel's exhibition hall on the occasion of Rural Women's Day.
Esteban Salvador Vicente García, a resident of Los Alcázares has always maintained his family roots with Campos del Río.
He began late in painting what has not diminished him at the time of becoming an artist of oil and watercolor with observation of the classics and influence of the colors of the garden in which he has been inspired and specialized.
Vicente García has exhibited in collective days together with other artists in the municipality of Los Alcázares in 2013, he has participated in plays of the riverside municipality held in 2014 on the occasion of Women's Day and has exhibited with remarkable success in the Consistory of Los Alcázares under its own sample of puncture entitled "My memories" in 2016.
For its part, the mayor of Culture and mayor of Campos del Rio, María José Pérez Cerón, wanted to congratulate the authors for their work represented in this joint exhibition that has described as "magnificent" of which he said;
"I am sure that it will not leave anyone indifferent, so I invite all those who want to go through our City Council to enjoy the work of these two artists linked to our people."
And he recalled that this is one of the cultural activities that are included in the project 'Campos de Río Cultural' that this October will continue with new initiatives aimed at the promotion and dissemination of culture in all its expressions in our municipality.
