These grants, worth 175,000 euros, will be made available to municipalities in May to remove small obstacles from the public road and adapt urban spaces to people with disabilities.
The municipality of Campos del Rio will attend this call for a grant that will reach up to 60 percent of the project submitted, with the grant of a maximum of 6,000 euros
Likewise, the Ministry foresees a total of 70,000 euros in aid to improve accessibility in transport and grants to support the mobility of people with disabilities.
This year, for the first time, will include a call for aid, endowed with 25,000 euros, to subsidize the mobility of people with physical disabilities ..
In addition, next week Fomento will publish the call for subsidies to finance the displacement of people with intellectual disabilities, for an amount of 25,000 euros, and who can access courses and programs to integrate and integrate labor, training and empowerment of their personal autonomy.
Grants are for people with intellectual disabilities equal to or greater than 33 percent, as well as the professionals who accompany them, and will be awarded through associations working with these groups.
